The Africa Collective Investment team is elated to introduce Africa Collective Investments (Pty) (RF) Ltd (“ACI”). ACI is a Collective Investment Scheme Management Company registered under the Collective Investment Scheme Control Act of South Africa (“CISCA”) and a proud member of the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (“ASISA”). ACI was established by two of South Africa’s leading independent financial services companies, 27Four Investment Managers (Pty) Ltd and the Prescient Group. The company was established to meet the growing demand for co-named hosting solutions in South Africa.

ACI is managed by a team of highly skilled individuals, with extensive experience in Collective Investment Schemes. The team is made up of majority black individuals, this meets ACI’s objective of promoting transformation and inclusivity in financial services.

The executive committee is composed of the founding members supported by the CEO. Fatima Vawda is the founder and managing director of 27four Investments Managers. Her area of expertise include asset allocation and portfolio construction. She has received numerous accolades the most recent being the EY World Entrepreneur Emerging Category Winner 2016. Craig Mockford is the CEO of Prescient’s Administrative Business, he has extensive experience in the operations of Collective Investment Schemes being a director of the Prescient Management Company and previously as director of Prudential Portfolio Managers Unit Trust Ltd. Together they bring 40 years industry experience to ACI.

The three independent non-executive directors include Mzwakhe Goodwill Nhlanhla, Eldria Fraser and Goolam Modack. Goodwill has over 10 year’s industry experience having spent most of his career in stockbroking, he is currently a director of Asani Group Holdings and its subsidiaries. Goodwill serves as the chairman of the board. Goolam is the Deputy Head of the College of Accounting and Section Head for Financial Reporting at the University of Cape Town. Goolam is an independent non-executive director of various companies bringing with him considerable governance experience. Eldria served as Chief Investment Officer of Prescient Investment Management for 15 years and has over 20 years’ experience in investment markets. Together they sit on the ACI risk and audit committee.

At the helm of ACI is Keabetswe Ntuli, a qualified Chartered Accountant. She is responsible for the running of the business. She has over 10 year’s industry experiences; having previously worked in Prime Brokerage and Auditing.
